CROCKETT- Grace E. (Gilbert) passed away in San Jose, CA, and formerly of Winthrop and Cambridge, Feb 12, 2007, at the age of 93. She was the beloved wife of the late Frederick T. Crockett. Born in Cambridge, MA, She was the daughter of the late George and Mary (Faxon) Gilbert. She was the devoted mother of Grace E. Bush of Saratoga, CA, and Mary E. Noonan of San Juan Capistrano, CA. Adored grandmother of Mary Gaspar, Jane and Paul Bush, and John, Thomas, and Marie Noonan. Great grandmother of Erin and Anthony Gaspar and Ryan Bush. Sister-in-law of Virginia Gilbert of Brewster, MA. Funeral arrangements were from the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home 210 Winthrop St, WINTHROP. A Funeral Mass was held at the Holy Rosary Church, on Feb 20, 2007 at 10am. Interment was in Cambridge Cemetery, Cambridge. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pathways Hospice Foundation 585 North Mary Ave, Sunnyvale, CA, 94085. Former member of the St. Mary’s Church Sodality in Cambridge, MA. Grace was a 1930 graduate of Watertown High School. Prior to her retirement, she was employed by the F.B. Hubley Auction House in Cambridge, as a secretary for 22 years.
