Jean Marie (O'Neill) Reilly, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, died at her home in Charlestown on Friday, August 17, 2007 following a courageous battle with cancer. She was 62 years old.
Jeannie was born in Boston on July 12, 1945. She grew up in Charlestown where she attended Boston Public Schools and graduated from Charlestown High School. Jean has worked for many years as a clerk for Partners Health Services.
Jeannie is the beloved wife of Albert M. "Al" Reilly. She is the devoted mother of Patricia Jean Reilly, Helena Reilly and Sean Reilly all of Charlestown. She is the loving step-mother of Colleen C., Albert, Cheryl, Robert and Roger Reilly. She is the beloved sister of Robert "Pots" O'Neill of Charlestown, Helen Jacobs of Dorchester, Christine McCarthy of Whitman and the late Mazie and Leonard O'Neill and Anne Duncan. She is the dear friend of Patricia Noonan.
Jean's Funeral will be held on Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at 9 a.m. from the Carr Funeral Home 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Catherine's Church 49 Vine St. Charlestown at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours for Jean will be held on Monday August 20, 2007 from 4 to 8 p.m. Entombment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery Mausoleum, Malden.
