Obituary

Doris B. Brin, 79, of Privilege Street, Woonsocket, a winder for the former Premier Thread Company in Lincoln before retiring in 1990, died Friday, August 17, 2007 at St. Antoine Residence in North Smithfield. She was the wife of Roland Brin and the late Michael J. Ciardella, Jr.
Born in Lincoln, she was a daughter of the late Joseph & Melvina (Daigneault) Bruneau, she had lived in the city of Woonsocket for many years, previously living in Lincoln.
She is also survived by her children, Helen L. Ciardella of Woonsocket, Susan Rose and Michael J. Ciardella, III both of North Adams, MA, Nancy Corriveoult of Blackstone, Linda Beausoleil, of Connecticut, David W. Brin of Woonsocket, 16 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and a sister, Eva Maruite of Chepachet, of Blackstone. She was the sister of the late Cecile Chequin, Simone Simmons, Mae McCaffrey, Alvina Eddy, Annette O’Hara and Maurice and Luke Bruneau.
Funeral Service Monday at 10am in the *ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Visitation will follow the service until 11:00am. Committal will be in the Rhode Island Veterans' Cemetery on Wednesday at 10am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 931 Jefferson Boulevard, Suite 306, Warwick, RI 02886.
