Mrs. Mary (Toscano) Palermo, beloved wife of the late Gene Palermo, of Medford, formerly of the North End, died at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford on August 12, 2007. She was 86 years old.
Born in Riese, Sicily, she was the beloved daughter of the late Francesco and Francesca (Gallo) Toscano.
She had been a long time communicant of St. Joseph Church in Medford.
She was the loving mother of Frank W. Palermo of Gilbert, AZ and Ignatius Palermo, devoted sister of Frankie “Ross” Toscano of Seabrook, NH. Cherished grandmother of Stephanie, Natalie, Marlo, Tara and Alicia. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Her funeral was from the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford, Friday at 8 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford at 9 AM.
