Rose M. (Saster) Crothers, 88 of Franklin died August 14 in the Maples Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Wrentham. She was the wife of the late Francis Crothers.
Born in Worcester July 7, 1919, the daughter of the late Frank and Florence (Nasuti) Saster, Mrs. Crothers had lived in Franklin for most of her life.
Mrs. Crothers had been an LPN at the former Pondville Hospital in Norfolk for many years.
She is survived by her brothers, Joseph Saster of East Douglas and Fred “Butch” Saster of Franklin and her sisters Lucy Molloy and Mary Cheli, both of Franklin.
She was the sister of the late Anthony and John Saster.
She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held on Friday August 17 from the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin 131 Main St., Franklin at 10:15 followed by a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Church Square, Franklin at 11:00 a.m.
Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be on Friday from 10: 15-10:45 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to the Charity of One’s Choice.
