Obituary

Mr. Arthur J. McIntire, age 76, a life-long resident of Woburn died Sunday August 12th following a lengthy illness. He was the beloved husband for 49 years of Mary L. (Reagan) McIntire. Born in Woburn he was the son of the late Arthur J. and Helen (Lynch) McIntire.

Mr. McIntire was a retired laberor and worked for over twenty years at the Atlantic Gelatin Plant in Woburn. Following his retirement he continued working as a crossing guard for a number of years mostly at the Hurld School. He was a United States Air Force Veteran of the Korean War and was a member of Woburn´s American Legion Post 101. Mr. McIntire enjoyed listening to Irish music, traveling and spending the summers on Cape Cod.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Cheryl and Arthur McIntire both of Woburn. He is also survived by his sister, Helen Krebs and her husband John of Barefoot Bay, FL and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the McLaughlin – Dello Russo Funeral Home 60 Pleasant St. Woburn, Friday at 9 a.m. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Charles Church 280 Main St. Woburn, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday 5 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn.
