Bernard F. Wolnick, 81, of New Bedford died Tuesday August 14, 2007 at New Bedford Health Care Center after a brief illness. He was the husband of Theresa (Lafleur) Augustyn Wolnick and the late Jennie (Wisniewski) Wolnick.
Born in North Adams, the son of the late Stanley and Teofila (Fortuna) Wolnick, he lived in New Bedford for most of his life.
He was a communicant of Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish.
Mr. Wolnick was formerly employed as a general foreman and plant manager for AccuCap until his retirement.
During World War II, he served in the U.S. Army. He was a life member of Disabled American Veterans Dr. C.E. Burt Chapter #7, and a member of the New Bedford Gun Club.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Marcella Rodrigues of New Bedford and Martha DelSignore of Medford; and two grandchildren, Catherine and Michael DelSignore.
