Antonio Leanza, 67, of Londonderry, NH, died Monday, August 13, 2007 in the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH. Mr. Leanza was born and raised in Sicily, Italy on May 31, 1940, a son of the late Salvatore and Giusepina (Lavenia) Leanza. He was a resident of Londonderry for the past five years, formerly living in Lawrence, MA. Mr. Leanza was employed as a mechanic for VIP Auto Parts in Derry, and was an avid Grand Prix and Formula One Racing fan. Mr. Leanza was a member of the Londonderry Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Angela (Amato) Leanza of Londonderry; one daughter, Stefanie Low and her husband Kevin of Sandown, NH; one son, Salvatore Leanza of Londonderry; and three grandchildren, Zachary Low, Britany Low, and Dillan Leanza.
Friends called on Wednesday, August 15th from 4 - 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. Funeral services were held on Thursday at 10:00am in the Londonderry Presbyterian Church, corner of Pillsbury Rd. and Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. The burial followed in the Pillsbury Cemetery in Londonderry.
