N. Bennington, VT- Barbara F. (Harris) (Flaherty) Broussard, 68, of N. Bennington, VT, formerly of Middleboro, died Saturday, Aug. 11, 2007, at home. She was the wife of Edward J. Broussard.
Born Aug. 18, 1938, in Boston, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Ruth (Kief) Harris.
Raised in Dorchester, she had lived in Middleboro before moving to Vermont 11 years ago.
Mrs. Broussard was a bookkeeper for AGM Plumbing in Hanover for 10 years.
She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and spending time with her family.
She was the wife of Edward J.; mother of Deborah Moreau of Cambridge, NY, William Flaherty of Frt. Lauderdale, FL, Barbara Sawyer of Temple, NH, Sean Flaherty of Cumberland, RI, Lola Flaherty of East Bridgewater and Charles Flaherty of Frt. Lauderdale, FL. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service in the Wales-Prophett Funeral Home, 35 Spring St., East Bridgewater, Thursday at 11 am. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8 pm. Burial in Central Cemetery, Halifax.
