Carolyn (Manzelli) Heniffent, age 59, died Friday evening, August 10, 2007 after a very brief illness. Born in Boston, she was the beloved daughter of Maria (Garassi) & Mario Manzelli, of Somerville. Carolyn, and her husband Bill have been longtime Somerville residents.
Carolyn was a sales rep. for Minolta copy machines for the last 10 years. Previously she worked for Town & Country Wholesale Jewelers of Chelsea from 1983-1995. Carol really enjoyed playing all types of card games, she loved to travel, read and spend time with her precious grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Carolyn is survived by her beloved children, Jennifer Duplease of Melrose, and Jason Whitman of Medford. Loving grandmother to Rhiannon and Colin. Sister of Liz Rose-Palmer of Methuen, Julie McCulloch of NH, and the late Anthony Manzelli. Also survived by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD, Tuesday at 8 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday 3-5 & 7-9. Interment will be private.
It has been requested that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made in Carolyn’s name to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Division of Development-Jimmy Fund, 10 Brookline Place, Brookline, MA 02445.
