Paul S. Lewis, age 61, a lifelong resident of Lowell, died Wednesday, Aug. 8, at his home in Lowell after a short illness.
He was born in Lowell on Feb. 23, 1946, the son of the late George and Mary (McDeavitt).
Mr. Lewis was a self employed construction worker in the Lowell area for many years. He enjoyed NASCAR and was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. He was also a friend of Bill W.
He is survived by his children and their spouses, Jamie and Lisa Lewis of Tyngsboro, Lisa and Douglas Foley of Lowell, and Heidi and William Spirdione of Haverhill; a brother and sister-in-law, George and Sandy Lewis of Lowell; two sisters, Maryanne Cullen of Florida and Carol Murphy of Lowell; his grandchildren, Cody, Amanda, Jessica, Thomas, Anthony and Adriana; his best friend, Paul Landry of Lowell; other close friends, Kay Trigones, Kevin and Janice Stuart, Chris Tierney, Kenny Stuart and Joe and Anna Silva; also several nieces and nephews. He was the former husband of the late Sandra Lewis who died in 2006.
Friends are respectfully invited to attend a memorial visitation at the M. R. LAURIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 295 Pawtucket St., Lowell, on Monday, Aug. 13 from 4 to 7pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Merrimack Valley Hospice, 360 Merrimack St., Lawrence, MA 01843.
