Malcolm Crouch, age 83, of Mystic died Wednesday morning at the Mystic Manor Convalescent Center one day before his 84th birthday.
He was born in Ledyard on December 12, 1918 one of 13 children to Stephen James Crouch and Phebe Jane (Prosser) Crouch.
A former resident of California and Missouri, Mr. Crouch worked as senior janitor in Public School Systems prior to his retirement.
His wife, Elizabeth Crouch died November 8, 2001.
A Graveside Funeral Service will be conducted at Quakertown Cemetery, Col. Ledyard Hwy., Ledyard on Friday at 11am. There are no visiting hours.
