GARDNER—Catherine “Kitty” (Lannon) Brennan, 94 years old, a former resident of Lowell and Dracut, died Monday December 9th, at the Leo LaChance Center, in Gardner, after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Police Inspector Arthur E. Brennan.
She was born in Lowell, on August 20, 1908, a daughter of the late James and Norah (Lannon) Fleming, and was educated in New York schools.
She enjoyed cooking and home decorating as well as assisting the elderly. She has been a resident in Gardner since February of 2000.
Surviving her are a daughter: Nancy L. (Brennan) Brosque, of New Ipswich, NH; two granddaughters: Tammy A. (Brosque) DeVito, of Derry, NH; Tracy A. Brosque, of Rindge, NH; a grandson: Steven A. Brosque, of Gardner; six great-granddaughters: Shailey DeVito, Lindsay DeVito, Sierra Brosque, Savanna Brosque, Caitlin Brosque and Chelsea Brosque; a sister: Gertrude Farley, of Dracut; a nephew: Robert Farley, of Dracut; also several other nieces and nephews.
At her request, there will be no calling hours. A Memorial Mass will be offered Saturday December 14th, at 10 AM at ST. FRANCIS CHURCH, Dracut, to which relatives and friends are invited.
