Nancy Migliore, a long-time resident of Somerville, died Wednesday at Massachusetts General Hospital. She was 91.
Mrs. Migliore was born and raised in Sicily, the daughter of the late Vincenzo and the late Maria (Ciano) Rinallo. She came to the United States in 1955 and settled in Boston’s West End. In 1960 the family moved to their home in Somerville. Dedicated to her family, Nancy worked as a stitcher at Stuart Pants Co., Boston after her children were raised.
She was the beloved wife of the late Carmelo, who died in 2002. She was a devoted mother to Grace Migliore of Somerville, Anthony Migliore of Malden, Vincent Migliore and his wife Carol Ann of Somerville, Leonora Fulgoni and her husband Arthur of Somerville. She was a loving grandmother to Anthony and Vincent Migliore, Arthur, Stephen, Cristina Fulgoni and a loving great- grandmother to Samantha, Michael, Nicholas, and Anthony.
Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Saturday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Catherine Of Genoa Church, 179 Summer Street, Somerville, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family, Friday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with entombment at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum.
