Leo M. DeRagon, 69, of Hunt St., Bellingham, died Monday at Landmark Medical Center. He was the husband of 44 years of Nancy J. (Keyes) DeRagon.
Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Leo H. and Beatrice (Thibeault) DeRagon. He was a resident of Bellingham for most of his life.
Mr. DeRagon was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He worked in the shipping department at the St. Gobain Co, formerly the Ball & Foster Co., in Milford, for over 25 years before retiring in 2001.
He enjoyed gardening and fishing.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Leo R. DeRagon, and his wife Lisa, of Blackstone, a daughter, Barbara J. Jarobski, and her husband Stephen, of Leicester, MA., three grandchildren, Kristina Jarobski, Tiffany Cascio, and Trisha Schmidtka, and a great-grandson, Anthony Cassio. He was the brother of Jeanne Lanoue, of Vermont, and the late Constance Harrop. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be Friday at 9:00 am from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St., Woonsocket, with a service in the funeral home at 10:00 am.
