Obituary

SALEM- Ethel C. (Hare) Latinik, 76, wife of David J. Latinik, of Salem, died Tuesday morning, December 10, 2002 at her home following a long illness.

Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late William and Freda W. (Kierstead) Hare.

Mrs Latinik was employed at the CBS Hytron in Danvers, at Sylvania in Salem during WWII, and at she Salem laundry during the 1950's.

A resident of Salem for most of her life, she resided in witchcraft heights for 27 years, was an active and lifelong member of the Grace Church in Salem and was a member of the AARP.

Besides her husband, with whom she shared 54 years of marriage, she is survived by one sister, Emily H. Johnson of Salem, and three generations of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Harold Hare, Arthur Hare, and three sisters, Grace M. Pierce, Dorothy I. Richards and Marion E. Hare.

Her funeral service will be held Saturday at 11am at the Grace Church in Salem, 385 Essex Street, Salem, with Rev. Deborah A. Phillips, Rector, officiating. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours are Friday, 5 to 8 pm at the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem. Burial is in Harmony Grove Cemetery, Salem.
