Karen J. Galvin of Framingham formerly of Dedham died August 5, 2007 at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington. She was the beloved daughter of Jean (Gillingham) Galvin of Dedham and the late James J. Galvin.
Karen was a graduate of Dedham High School, class of 1970 and worked as a Graphic Specialist for Arthur D. Little in Cambridge for 10 years.
She was the sister of Robin Fink and her husband Joel of Natick, James J. Galvin Jr. of Dedham and John F. Galvin and his wife Paulette of Framingham. She was the devoted companion of Christopher G. Young of Framingham. She was the loving aunt of Eric, Andrew, Emily, Janelle, Casey and Renee.
A memorial mass will be celebrated in St. Mary’s Church, Dedham, Friday at 9:00 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours will be held at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., on Thursday from 4-8 PM. Interment services will be private.
