Richard Bradford Leavitt, 58, of Milford, MA died Friday at Milford Regional Medical Center.
Born in Boston, Richard was a graduate of Holliston High School and received a degree in Engineering from Northeastern University.
A longtime resident of Milford, Richard had been employed for many years as a Manufacturing Engineer with Data General
Corporation.
Richard was a very dedicated father and husband who enjoyed coaching all of his children’s sporting activities, taking cruises with his wife and friends, fishing and touring lighthouses throughout New England.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Jessica M. (Antoon) Leavitt,
Two children Caryn M. Leavitt of Milford, and Stephen B. & wife Maureen A. Leavitt of Needham, his sister, Victoria Hobson of Hopedale, MA, brother-in-law, Michael J. Antoon & wife Patricia of Methuen, sister-in-law Marsha (Antoon) Roy & husband Paul of Hudson, NH, two grandsons, Sean and Finn Leavitt both of Needham and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will take place on Wednesday morning at 10:30 A.M. in Saint Anthony’s Maronite Church of Lawrence with burial to follow in St. Anthony’s Cemetery in Methuen.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 4-8 P.M. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc. 233 Lawrence Street of Methuen.
