Julia M. (Aherne) McNulty of Jamaica Plain and West Roxbury, died August 3, 2007 at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. She was 88. She was the beloved wife of the late Lt. John J. McNulty (B.P.D.)
Mrs. McNulty was born in Boston and was the daughter of the late John and Bridget (Sullivan) Aherne. A homemaker, she was a member of the West Roxbury Park League Seniors. She was also very active at the Spring House in Jamaica Plain.
She was the devoted mother of Maureen Farbstein of New York City, Kathleen Lyons of West Roxbury, John McNulty, Jr. of Fort Mill, NC and Paul McNulty of Wakefield. Grandmother of Eileen Lyons, Peter Farbstein, Timothy Lyons, Sean, Meghan, Erin and Brian McNulty. Sister of Lawrence Aherne of Norwood, Irene Ahern of West Roxbury and the late Mary Johnson, Rita and John Aherne.
