Edith DeCesare, 97, of Joan Drive, Johnston, died Friday, August 3, 2007 at Waterview Villa, East Providence. She was the wife of the late Victor DeCesare.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Charles and Carmella (Simmonelli) DeMagistris. She lived in Johnston for 37years previously living in Providence.
She is survived by a son, Victor M. DeCesare and a daughter, Barbara A. Gallonio both of Johnston, three grandchildren; Kimberly, Anthony and Victor and one great granddaughter, Ava. She was the sister of the late Ralph, Renaldo, Louise and Fredrick DeMagistris.
Her funeral will be held Monday at 9am from the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Robert Bellarmine, 1804 Atwood Avenue, Johnston. Burial in Highland Park, Johnston. Visitation Sunday 5-8pm.
