John Anthony Goff, 41, of Somerset, Kentucky, formerly of Tifton, died Thursday, August 2, 2007, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 6, 2007, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. Ray Turner will officiate with burial to follow in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery with full Masonic rites. Stan Walker, Rodney Dean Love, Dale Hayes, Foster J. Goff, Shane Fountain and Coy Goff will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 5, 2007, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mr. Goff was born on Mar 15, 1966 in Albany and was the son of John P. Goff of Tifton and Hildred Coker Goff of Tifton. He was employed in the communications industry and was a member of the Masonic Order and a member of Eastside Baptist Church. He had lived in Kentuckey for the last several years from Tifton.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Goff is survived by his wife, LaVonda Goff of Somerset, Kentucky; one son, John Ashley Matthew Goff of Peachtree City; and one daughter, Jennifer Marie Watson of Tifton.
