Emily (Mescia) Colantonio, a lifelong Needham resident died on Thursday August 2nd at her home. She was 93 years old. Born in Needham, she was the daughter of the late Giacomo and Adelina (Moccio) Mescia. Mrs. Colantonio was a graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music, Class of 1936. She taught piano and organ lessons for over 70 years until she retired at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Colantonio. Loving mother of Marjorie E Waitkus of Plymouth, Linda S. Funeral from the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Ave Needham on Monday Aug 6th at 9: 00 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph Church at 10: 00 am.
