LOWELL – Michael J. Cox, 52, a resident of Lowell, died suddenly on Sunday, July 29th in Saints Medical Center.
He was born in Lowell on September 30, 1954 a son of the late Henry J. and the late Virginia R. (Kelly) Cox. He received his education through the Lowell school system and graduated from Lowell High School in the class of 1973.
Mr. Cox worked for the former Courier Citizens and for the City of Lowell Public Works Department.
He was a Communicant at St. Michael’s Church in Lowell and was a member of the East End Club in Lowell. He also enjoyed camping and spending time with his family.
Mr. Cox is survived by her sister, Sharon A. Roy of Lowell; two nieces, Jenny and Tara Roy both of Lowell, his nephew, Timothy Roy of Lowell, his aunt, Rosemarie A. Haugen of Lowell, his goddaughter, Jennifer Haugen of Lowell; many cousins and friends.
At the request of the family, all services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT.
