Obituary

Marion M. (Stewart) Brennan, 80, of Foxboro, and a former Franklin resident, died Thursday, July 26, 2007, at Caritas Norwood Hospital. She was the wife of Raymond W. Brennan.

Born in Woburn, September 29, 1926, a daughter of the late Albert A. and Marion M. (McKowen) Stewart, she lived in Franklin for many years until moving to Foxboro about 50 years ago.

She was raised and educated in Franklin, and was a 1944 graduate of Franklin High School. Mrs. Brennan was a past president of the Plymouth Bay Girl Scout Council, and was a past president and Lifemember of the Foxboro Garden Club. She loved family, young children gardening, knitting, crocheting, and line dancing at the Plainville Senior Center.

Mr. & Mrs. Brennan, celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary on May 19th. They were married in St. Mary’s Church in Franklin on May 19, 1946.

Survivors in addition to her husband include 2 sister: Ann Blackwood of Plainville, Priscilla Banville of E. Brookfield, MA, and many generational nieces and nephews including: David Brennan and family of Franklin, George Brennan and family of Winter Garden, Florida, Patricia Perkins and family of Plainville, James Blackwood of Foxboro, Marianne McDaniel of Panama City Beach, Florida, and Lance Blackwood and family of Mississippi.

She was also the sister of the late Alberta Brennan, Dorothy Edwards, Albert Charles, and Walter Stewart.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Wednesday, at 9:15 AM from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home, 33 Cottage Street, www.franklinfuneral.com , with a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, 1 Church Sq., Franklin at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Franklin.
