Lillian (Elia) Cintolo, a long-time Medford resident, died Saturday at Courtyard Nursing Center. She was 86.
Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Gennaro and Ida (Iandoli) Elia. A Medford resident for more than 50 years, Lillian was a stitcher and also worked in sales at RH Stearn in Boston and the former Godfrey’s clothing.
She was the beloved wife of the late Armando Cintolo. She was a devoted mother to Robert P. Cintolo and his wife AnnMarie of Orlando, Fla., Patricia Shea and her husband Walter of Medford. She was a loving grandmother to Robert P. Cintolo Jr. and his wife Susan of FL, Lia M. Hamby and her husband Dwayne of FL, Marc B. Shea and his wife Kimberly of Medford. She was a loving great-grandmother to Leslie and Raylin both of Florida. She was the dear sister of the late Gilda Spagnole.
Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Tuesday at 10 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner Street, Medford, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family Monday 2 - 4 and 7 - 9. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
