WORCESER-Helen F. (Connolly) Guittar, 87, of 201 Providence Street, died Wednesday, July 25th, in St. Vincent Hospital. Her husband, Samuel W. Guittar, died in 1987. She leaves 2 sons, Joseph W. Guittar and his wife Sharon of Worcester and James M. Guittar and his wife Lynne of Auburn; a sister, Mary Mulligan of Woburn; 2 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by 2 brothers.
She was born in Boston, the daughter of Patrick J. and Elizabeth (Toomey) Connolly and graduated from St. Mary’s High School, Charlestown. She was a former member of St. Peter’s Church and was an avid Red Sox fan.
A graveside service will be held Monday, July 30th, at 1:00 P.M. in Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Avenue, Paxton. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 460 Totten Pond Road, Suite 400, Waltham, MA 02451 or the American Heart Association, 20 Speen Streeet, Framingham, MA 01701.
