Yolanda C. Floyd, age 79, a life-long Woburn resident died Thursday, July 26th, at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center following a lengthy illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Iverson C. Floyd. Born in Woburn she was the daughter of the late Julio and Camella (Capaldo) Autenzio.
Yolanda worked for twenty-five years with the Continental plastic Co. Mostly devoted to her family and friends she enjoyed caring for her daughter, grandson, nieces, nephews and nieghborhood children. She loved cooking, baking, knitting and doing chrochet work. She was also an active parishioner and daily communicant at St. Anthony Church in Woburn . Yolanda was active with the Woburn Senior Citezens and looked forward to trips to Foxwoods and different Bingo venues.
She is survived by her daughter Linda Yates and her husband Peter of Tyngsboro. She is also survived by the “apple of her eyes”, her loving grandson Peter J. Yates Jr. Yolanda is further survived by her sister Gilda Browning of Texas and is predeceased by her sister Adeline Jones, and her brothers, Al and Mario Autenzio.
Funeral from the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home 60 Pleasant St. Woburn, Monday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Anthony Church 851 Main St. at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 3 thru 7. Services will conclude with burial at Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn.
