Thomas A. “Tom” Fuller, Sr., 83, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Wednesday, July 25, 2007 at the Life Care Center in Fitzgerald.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., Saturday, July 28, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. James Hubbard, Rev. Jerry Wilson and Rev. Robbie Edge officiating. Interment will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery, Ben Hill County. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 Friday evening at the funeral home.
Mr. Fuller was born September 8, 1923, in Ben Hill County to the late Claude and Jessie Head Fuller. He lived in Wilcox and Ben Hill Counties all of his life, growing up in the Sibbie community. Mr. Fuller worked for Fitzgerald Public Works for thirty-six years. He was a loving father and grandfather and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.
He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Lynda & Robert Edge and Mary & Terry Hobby all of Fitzgerald; son, Thomas A. “Tommy” Fuller, Jr., of Fitzgerald; 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Janey F. Tomberlin of the Sibbie Community in Wilcox County. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ernest Fuller.
