Obituary


Adelard “Del” R. Levesque 91, of Joffre Ave. died Sunday in Roger William’s Hospital. He was the husband of the late Agnes (Patenaude) Levesque. Mr. Levesque was born in Fall River, MA a son of the late Joseph and Emma (Desmarais) Levesque. He was a loom fixer for Berkshire Hathaway for many years, and an adjuster for Dennison for ten years before retiring in 1981. Mr. Levesque was a WWII Army Veteran. He was a member of St. Agatha’s Senior Citizens.

Mr. Levesque is survived by three sons Roland C. Levesque of Woonsocket, Rene E. Levesque of N. Smithfield, and Raymond L. Levesque of Chepachet, two grandsons Timothy and Corey Levesque, and a brother Leo Levesque of W. Warwick. He was also the brother of the late George, Fernand, Hormidas, Armand, Fredrick, Ernest, Louis, and Genevieve Levesque, Cora Lebeau, Medora Charpentier, and Jeannette Boucher.

His funeral will be held Friday at 9:00 am. from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am. in St. Agatha’s Church, Joffre St., Woonsocket. Burial will be held in Resurrection Cemetery in Cumberland. Visiting hours are Thursday 5-8 pm.
