Christine “Chrissy” M. Hammond, 24, died Friday July 20th at the Brockton Hospital, after an epileptic seizure. She was the wife of Robert Hammond of Whitman.
Born in Boston and brought up in Quincy, a daughter of Charles and Kathleen (McGee) Gale.
Chrissy attended Quincy schools.
She has been a resident of Whitman for 4 years.
Chrissy was dedicated to her husband and children.
In addition to her husband Robert, she is survived by her children, Kyle Davy of Quincy, Tyler and Patrick VanDyk both of Rockland, Devin and Cody Hammond both of Whitman, her parents Charles Gale of Boston and Kathleen (McGee) Gale of Rockland, her sister Charleen Purdy and her husband Daniel of Rockland; her brother and sister-in-law, Ronald Hammond and his wife and very close friend Sarah, and Diana Hammond; her mother-in-law Janet Hammond all of Whitman; her nieces and nephews Parker Hammond, Nicholas Hammond, Heidi Hammond, all of Whitman and Skyla Purdy of Rockland.
Her services will be held on Wednesday July 25th at 10:00 A.M. in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Route 58 at the Rotary Circle) Whitman. Visiting hours Tuesday, July 24th from 5 to 8 PM. Burial will be at a later date. www.blanchardfc.com
