FALL RIVER … Ronald P. Bouchard, Sr., 62, of Fall River died unexpectedly, July 23, 2007.
He was the husband of Cynthia (Smith) Bouchard.
He died at Charlton Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Fall River a son of the late William and Mary (Reid) Bouchard and had been a life long resident of the city.
He was employed as a manager of Alperts Storage Center in Fall River. Prior to that he was a corrections officer with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts at their Bridgewater and Walpole facilities retiring due to injury.
He was a communicant of Sts. Peter and Paul Parish at Holy Cross Church, Pulaski Street, Fall River.
Mr. Bouchard was a member of the Fall River Country Club and the Elks Club of Fall River. He was an avid golfer enjoyed painting, old cars, and doo-wop music. He was a 9th degree Black belt in Tae Kwon Do studying in Korea. He was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the Army. He received his Associates Degree in Business from Fisher Junior College.
Survivors include his widow, 2 sons: Ronald P. Bouchard, Jr.and his wife Suzana, of Taunton and Shaun D. Bouchard of Fall River, a daughter Heather R. Carvalho of Fall River, a brother William Bouchard, Jr. of Attleboro, a sister Margaret Portella of Riverside, RI, 6 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Services to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Friday at 8AM from the SOUTH COAST FUNERAL HOME, 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River (508-672-0291) followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 AM at Sts. Peter and Paul Parish at Holy Cross Church, 47 Pulaski Street, Fall River. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours Thursday 5 – 8 PM.
