Obituary

DRACUT – Annette R. (Roy) Grondine, 88, of Dracut, died Thursday July 19th at the Lowell General Hospital. She was the wife of the late Leo Joseph Grondine.

Born in Lowell on September 24, 1918, she was a daughter of the late Onesime and Irene (Geoffroy) Roy. She was educated in Lowell schools and graduated from the Lowell Girls Vocational School in 1934. She worked as an invisible mender for the U.S. Bunting Company in Lowell, then for Hathaway Shirts in Lowell, and finally for Lowell Lingerie until her retirement.

Mrs. Grondine is survived by a daughter Alice I. Hudon of Dracut; a son Leo G. Grondine and his wife Mary Ann of Prospect, CT; three sisters Alice Duff of Springfield, MA, Claire Shugrue of Lowell, and Rita Meinholtz of Seattle, WA; three grandchildren Michael Hudon, Arthur Grondine, and Leann Trevethan; five great grandchildren Kevin Hudon, Jennifer Hudon, Matthew Trevethan, Stephanie Trevethan, and Jonathon Trevethan; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by three sisters Blanche Stewart, Theresa Wilson, and Cecile Regan and a brother George Roy.

Friends may call at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT, on Monday from 4 until 8 PM. Her funeral service will be held from the funeral home on Tuesday at 8 AM, followed by her Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 9 AM at St. Mary Magdalen Church in Dracut. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Chelmsford.
