Charles Lamar Baldree, Sr., 69, of Omega died Friday, July 20, 2007, at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 23, 2007, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. Mike Brannon and Rev. Jody Futch will officiate with burial to follow in Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Johnathan Walker, Bryan Gandy, Chris Fogarty, Jimmy Dollars, Larry Baldree, and Jonathan Graham. Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Baldree, Buck Brannon and Trey Dollar. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 22, 2007, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mr. Baldree was born on April 20, 1938 in Berrien County and was the son of Linton Leland Baldree and Sally Connell Baldree, both deceased. He was also preceded in death by one brother. He was the owne of Baldree Syrup Company and of the Church of God faith.
Mr. Baldree is survived by his wife, Willie Mae Walker Baldree of Omega; one son, C. Lamar Baldree, Jr. of tifton; three daughters and one son-in-law, Karen Baldree of Tifton, Wanda and Billy Brannon of Tifton and Marie Harper of Enigma; one brother, Leon Baldree of Tifton; one sister, Eva Hudnall of Meridia, Mississippi; nine grandchildren, Travis Harper and his wife, Kim Wilson, Shonda Ball and her husband, Chris, Michael Harper and his wife, Brittney, Mandy Baldree, Brent Baldree, Mackenzie Harper, J. C. Baldree, J. W. Brannon and Seth Brannon; and six great grandchildren, Darien Ball, Blake Ball, Kara Ball, Charleigh Ball, Abby Harper and Dustin Baldree.
