Kay F. McDonnell, a retired medical secretary, died Tuesday at her Medford home. She was 87.
Kay was born in San Diego, into a Navy family, the daughter of the late James C. and the late Kathryn F. (Coyne) McDonnell. She settled in Medford 66 years ago. Kay went to art school and worked for Fine Trimming, a company which did window decorating at Jordan Marsh and other fine stores in Boston. For thirty years, Kay was a medical secretary at the office of Dr. Brown at Winthrop Circle. She retired only a few years ago.
She was the sister of the late Ann Ingram. She was the loving aunt of John Ingram, Cathy Byrne, and James Ingram. She was the dearest friend to Connie Evangelista and family. She was also a special “Auntie” to Andrew and James Chotkowski.
A Memorial Mass will be offered at St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford, Saturday, July 21st at 11 AM.
