Obituary

GLOUCESTER: Norman L. Gagnon, 55, formerly of Beverly, died unexpectedly on Saturday, July 14, 2007 at his home in Gloucester.
Born in Salem on February 18, 1952, he was the son of Jeannette T. (Wilson) Kearley of Peabody and Leo J. Gagnon of Salem. He attended Beverly public schools and resided in Beverly for many years before moving to Gloucester over twenty years ago.
Norman was employed as a home improvement contractor on the North Shore for many years. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, playing the guitar and especially the time spent at the family’s summer camp on David’s Pond in Fayette, Maine.
In addition to his mother and father, he is survived by his fiancée, Mary D. Kirby of Gloucester, two daughters and a son-in-law, Tammy and William Little of Norway, Maine and Jodi Harris of Peabody, a brother, Ronald Gagnon of Peabody, a sister and brother-in-law, Deborah J. and Nicholas Marotta of Churchton, Maryland, a nephew, three nieces and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
His funeral services will be held on Friday in the Dolliver Memorial Cemetery, Lincoln Street, (off Rt.133) Gloucester at 10 A.M. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday evening in the Pike-Grondin Funeral Home, 61 Middle Street, Gloucester from 6 - 8 P.M. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the charity of one’s choice.
