George F. Bouchard
Manchester– George F. Bouchard, 84, died July 17, 2007 at his home following a long illness.
He was born in Chelsea, MA on November 3, 1922, the son of Emile and Annie (Bourcier) Bouchard.
Prior to his retirement he was a Manchester Firefighter.
He enjoyed winters in Florida, golfing and the Redsox. He served in the US Marines and was a member of American Legion Post 79, Catholic War Veterans, Knights of Columbus, and the Elks.
He was predeceased by his wife Lorraine (Fradette) Bouchard in 1988, a son Richard Bouchard, in 1969, and a daughter Elaine Currier in 2004.
Family members include a son Michael Bouchard of Manchester, and a daughter Debora Cate, of Epsom, 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren.
Services: Calling hours will be Thursday from 4 to 8 pm in J.N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home 110 Bridge St. Manchester.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10 am in St. Catherine Church. Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
