Willie Mae Willis McCrary, 96, of Ty Ty died Tuesday, July 17, 2007, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 20, 2007, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Elder Buck Wood and Rev. Terrell Roberts will officiate with burial to follow in Salem Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 20, 2007, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals just prior to the service.
Mrs. McCrary was born on April 5, 1911 in Worth County and was the daughter of Hardy Holland Willis and Sarah Addie Daniels Willis, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Elbert C. McCrary; three sons and one daughter-in-law, Billy Royce McCrary, Walter H. McCrary and Bobby E. and Orene McCrary; and one daughter, Dorothy Mae Willis. She was a homemaker and a member of Old Ty Ty Primitive Baptist Church.
Mrs. McCrary is survived by one daughter and two sons-in-law, Sarah and Lamar Nesmith of Chula and Chesley Willis of Irwinville; one daughter-in-law, Katie McCrary of Lake Placid, Florida; ten grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
