Southbridge – John B. Gervais, 88, formerly of Worcester died on Tuesday, July 17 in the Radius Healthcare Center in Southbridge after a long illness.
His wife Mary L. Gervais died in 1997. Mr. Gervais is survived by a daughter Lucille M. Gervais of Oxford; a son Francis J. Gervais of Palm Springs, CA; a granddaughter Melissa Gervais of Woodstock, CT; a great grandson Jordan Gervais and many nephews and nieces. He is predeceased by 5 brothers and sisters and was born in Worcester where he worked at the Worcester State Hospital for 40 years.
The funeral will be held on Thursday, July 19 at 12 Noon in Holy Name of Jesus Church 53 Illinois St. Worcester. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester is handling arrangements.
