Beatrice A. “Bea” Paul, 27, of Mendon Rd., Woonsocket, died Friday at Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston.
Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of Janice G. (Lizotte) Paul and the late Roland A. Paul. She was a resident of Woonsocket for most of her life.
Beatrice was a graduate of Woonsocket High School, Class of 1999. She enjoyed going to movies, country music, and lobster dinners. She took great pleasure in the company of her dogs, Taffy and Brea. She was also an avid reader of romance novels, and had a great affinity for dolphins.
During her lifelong illness with cystic fibrosis, Bea touched many lives. She was an inspiration to her family, friends, and caregivers. Bea was blessed with a special circle of friends she made through her online club, known as the “Poker Chix”.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by seven brothers, Steven Paul, of Cumberland, Scott Paul, of FL., Frank Paul, of North Smithfield, Kenneth Paul, Jon Paul, Carlos Paul all of Woonsocket, and Patrick Paul, of Providence, eight sisters, Suzanne Novotney, of MI, Donna Cotter, of CT, Carmen Paul, of Providence, Cara Lilibertie, Joslin Paul, Janelle Paul, Michelle Paul, and Vanessa Paul, all of Woonsocket. She is also survived by eight nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be Thursday at 9:00am from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St., Woonsocket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am in St. Joseph Church, Mendon Rd., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham.
