Obituary

Lucille M. (Costello) Curran, 87 of Franklin, died July 14 in the Medway
Country Manor. She was the wife of the late John V. Curran.
Born in Franklin, December 15, 1919 the daughter of the late Richard and Louise (Furani) Costello, Mrs. Curran was a lifelong Franklin resident.
Mrs. Curran had been a school teacher in Franklin for many years before retiring. She first taught at St. Mary’s School in Franklin and then at the Kennedy School.
Mother of the late Paul Curran and Nancy Curry, she is survived by her son-in-law, Philip Curry of Franklin and her grandchildren, Clare Day, Erin Carr and Chad Curry. She is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren.
She was the sister of the late Normand Costello, Richard “Chug” Costello, John Alden Costello, Raphael Costello and Clare Keefe.
Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, July 17 from the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin 131 Main St. in Franklin at 8:15 followed by a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Church Square, Franklin at 9:00 a.m.
Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Calling hours will be on Monday from 4-8 p.m.
