WORCESTER____Agnes V. (Latendress) Berberian, 79, of Worcester, died Thursday July 12 in St. Vincent Hospital surrounded by her family. Her husband, Richard H. Berberian died in 1997.
She was born in Vermont, a daughter of Joseph and Mary (Russell) Latendress. The family moved to Worcester and Agnes has lived here for most of her life. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Mary Berberian of Worcester; a daughter, Constance Kender of North Brookfield; two grandchildren, Steven Kender of Baltimore, MD., and Christine Kender of Worcester; and a step-grandchild, Lauren Essex of Worcester.
Agnes worked in the nursing profession for over 50 years where she nurtured and cared for the elderly throughout the Worcester area. In addition to being a devoted wife and loving mother, Agnes was a devout catholic who attended church nearly everyday.
The funeral will be held Monday July 16 from DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME 298 Grafton Street, with a graveside service at 10:00 a.m. in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours in the funeral home are Sunday July 15 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen Street, Framingham, Massachusetts, 01701.
