Obituary




Vera M (MacDonald) Brosseau, 73, died July 12th in the Brockton Hospital, after a period of failing health. She was the wife of Paul P. Brosseau.

Born and brought up in Canada, she attended school in Canada and the Moncton Hospital School of Nursing.

She was a resident of Pembroke for 42 years.

Vera worked the night shift as a nurse at the Brockton hospital from 1964 to 1998.

She enjoyed Yatzee, cards, collecting coins, light houses, owls and especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Paul P. Brosseau her children Philip, Patricia, Brosseau, Paula Doherty, Pamela Brosseau; also survived by her eight brothers and sisters and predeceased by 3 sisters and 1 brother; grandmother of five; several nieces and nephews.

Her visiting hours will be on Tuesday July 17th 3-7 P.M., in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street, (Route 58 at the Rotary Circle) Whitman. Funeral services will be held at a later date in Canada.
