Ruth E. (Minor) Wagner, 84, of New Bedford died July 11, 2007 at the Oaks Nursing Home after a brief illness.
She was the wife of Richard D. Wagner.
Born in Pawtucket, RI, the daughter of the late Robert P. and Mary (Dunley) Minor, she lived in New Bedford all of her life.
Mrs. Wagner was a communicant of Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish.
She was formerly employed by Reca's Pharmacy for many years until retirement.
Mrs. Wagner was an avid bowler.
Survivors include her husband; 4 sons, Richard Wagner, Jr. of Jupiter, FL; Thomas Wagner, and his wife Janice, of Mattapoisett, Terrance Wagner, and his wife Gail, of Attleboro and Kevin Wagner, and his wife Jodi, of Smithfield, RI; 5 grandchildren, Melissa, Michelle, Thomas, Jr., Ryan and Kyle; several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Jay Wagner.
Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Home For Funerals, 495 Park St. New Bedford Saturday, July 14th at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass at Holy Name of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Westport. Visiting hours Friday, July 13th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
