Obituary

RYAN- Of Orange City, Florida, unexpectedly July 9th, Kevin P. Devoted husband of Roberta Ryan. Beloved father of Karen Parker of Spring, Texas and Tammy Ryan of Nevada. Dear and loving brother of Helen Asaro and her late husband Vito who also passed away unexpectedly, June 20th of Burlington, Catherine Smith and her husband Michael J., Sr. of Chelsea, Sheila Ciaramella of Chelsea, Marlene Taraskiewicz of Peabody, Joseph Ryan of Maine and the late Martin Ryan, Mary Cushing, Agnes Gordon, Leo F. Ryan, Jr. and Patricia Coyne. Also lovingly survived by 2 grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held in the Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Boulevard, Orange City, Florida on Friday morning, July 13th at 10 o'clock. Visiting Hours will be held in the Deltona Memorial on Thursday, July 12th from 5-8 PM. Additional Services concluding with interment will be held in Texas next week.
Born in Chelsea, Kevin, at 62 years of age, passed away unexpectedly Monday afternoon at work after suffering a heart attack. A 30 year Army Veteran, stationed in Manteca, California saw active combat in both the Vietnam War and the Gulf War. After retiring from the service in 1994, he moved to Florida and became a maintenance supervisor for Casa San Pablo, a Nursing Home operated by St. Paul's Catholic Church in Daytona Beach. Kevin and his wife Roberta, an employee of Deltona Memorial Funeral Home were both retiring this Friday and moving to thier new home in Texas to be closer to his children and to continue with his hobbies which included collecting antique cars, boating, fishing and woodworking.
