Grace E. Foley, 92 of Woburn, a devoted mother and homemaker, died Wednesday in the Woburn Nursing Center following a lengthy illness. Born in Woburn, she was the daughter of the late William and the late Emma (Smith) Mahoney. Mrs. Foley was a graduate of Woburn High School and was also a communicant of St. Charles Church. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Grace´s memory to St. Charles Borromeo, Memorial Remembrance, 280 Main St. Woburn, MA 01801
Grace is the beloved wife of the late James E. Foley who died in 1970., and is survived by her five children; James E. Foley Jr. and his wife Elizabeth of Woburn, Paul Foley and his wife Darlene of Torrance, CA, Joan O’Brien and her husband John of Pocasset, Ruth Lombard and her husband Gary of Dennis, Peter Foley and his wife Susan of Amherst, NH. She is also survived by seventeen loving grandchildren and thirteen loving great grandchildren. Sister of Josephine Mahoney, Edward T. Mahoney and his wife Barbara all of Woburn, the late Charles, Francis, John, Rose and Rev. William J. Mahoney. Mrs. Foley is also preceded in death by one loving great granddaughter, Jessica Grenier.
A funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10:00 AM in St. Charles Borromeo Church, 280 Main Street, Woburn. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Woburn. Visiting hours Friday from 3 thru 7 PM at the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., Woburn.
