SALEM - Ella M. “Bubbles” (Worsencroft) DeFrancisco, 80, of Stoughton, formerly of Salem, died Tuesday morning, July 10, 2007 at her home following a long illness. She was the wife of Louis A. DeFrancisco.
Born and raised in Peabody, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Ida (Richards) Worsencroft and was a graduate of Peabody High School.
Mrs. DeFrancisco was employed in the office of the Wilard-Helburn Leather Company in Peabody.
A resident of Salem for over 50 years before moving to Stoughton in 2005, she was a parishioner of the former St. Mary’s Italian Church in Salem. She had a love for all animals and enjoyed bingo and cooking.
Besides her husband, with whom she shared over 60 years of marriage, Ella is survived by one son, Alan DeFrancisco and his fiancee, Bobbi Schenkler of Sharon, two grandchildren, Toni DeFrancisco of Hanover, Alyse DeFrancisco of New Castle, Delaware, three great grandchildren, Terric Greaves, Ryan Greaves, Caleb Good, all of Hanover, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one brother, Richard Worsencroft.
Her funeral service will be held Friday, July 13, 2007 at 10 am from the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem, followed by a funeral Mass at 11 am at the Immaculate Conception Church, Salem. Visiting hours are Thursday, 5 to 8 pm. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Burial is in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem.
