Susan (Yore) Moynihan, a lifelong resident of Winchester and Woburn, died on July 9, 2007 after her battle with ALS. Born in Winchester, she was raised and educated there, graduating from Winchester High School in 1961. She was the office manager at Winchester High School for over twenty-two years. While at the High School, she was active as the Union President for a year, as well as a Board Member and Vice President of the Winchester Employees Federal Credit Union. Susan was also involved as a member of the Winchester Insurance Advisory Committee. She was the loving mother of Scott F. Moynihan of Chelmsford and Kelli A. Moynihan of Stoneham. The beloved daughter of Eleanor (Fiore) Yore of Winchester and the late John P. Yore and Marguerite (Hanley), she was also the dear sister of George K. Yore of Woburn, Judy Fleming and her husband Russ of Winchester, Kevin M. Yore and his wife Kim of Woburn and the late John P. Yore Jr. and his wife Pat of NY. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Services will be held from the Costello Funeral Home, 177 Washington St., Winchester on Friday July 13th at 9AM followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, 155 Washington St.,Winchester at 10AM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are Thurs. from 5-8PM.
