Gilbert R. Rosinha, 48, of Dartmouth died December 9, 2001 at home after a brief illness. He was the husband of Joyce (King) Rosinha and son of Virginia A. (Merry) Rosinha of Dartmouth and the late Gilbert C. Rosinha.
Mr. Rosinha was born in New Bedford and had lived in Dartmouth all of his life. He owned and operated Salt Creek Farms in Dartmouth and was a lieutenant with the Dartmouth Fire Department District 1.
Survivors include his wife; his mother; 2 sons, Eli Rosinha and Eric Rosinha, both of Dartmouth; a daughter, Elizabeth Rosinha of Dartmouth; an aunt, Rosamond Bennett of Dartmouth; and a cousin, Susan Lee of Harvard, MA.
His Memorial Gathering will be held on Wednesday December 12, 2001 at 12 Noon at the Hawthorne Country Club, 970 Tucker Road, Dartmouth. His family will receive visitors at the Hawthorne Country Club from 11AM to 12 Noon prior to the gathering. Burial will be private.
