Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Wednesday at 9am. Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, N. Easton at 10am. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, W. Shirley A. (Nash) Gammons, 75 years, died Sunday at Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center after a period of failing health. Born, raised and educated in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Francis J. and Agnes M. (Tully) Nash and was a graduate of Brockton High School. She had been employed by White Star Laundry and Hesse Easton Company both of Brockton. Shirley had been a resident of North Easton since 1968 and enjoyed ceramics, cooking, traveling and for many years spending winters in Ft. Meyers, FL.
She is survived by two sons Stephen W. Gammons and his wife Maryrose of W. Bridgewater; Michael E. Gammons and his wife Nancy of N. Easton; two daughters Susan M. Gammons of N. Easton and Lynda A. Bukunt and her husband Jeffrey of Derry, NH, eight grandchildren Jessica and Ellen Gammons; Kathryn and Christopher Gammons, Timothy and Lindsay Dube and Jeffrey and Kristen Bukunt, one great grandchild Henry Colby and many nieces and nephews. She was the wife of the late Ernest F. Gammons and sister of the late MaryJane Jones, Gertrude Perkins and Francis Nash.
