Pamela Gean Bentley Howell, 46, of Tifton died Saturday, July 7, 2007, at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2007, at 3920 Highway 319 South. Rev. Joe Kearce, Jr. will officiate with a private burial to be held at a later date.
Mrs. Howell was born on August 6, 1960 in Tift County and was the daughter of James Wilbur Bentley, deceased, and Lydia Elizabeth Bentley Brown of Ty Ty. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one sister-in-law, Ellen Guy. She was a homemaker and a waitress and had lived in Tift County all of her life.
Mrs. Howell is survived by her husband, Joe Howell of Tifton; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Micheal Shane Howell and Nick and Alice Castellanos, all of Tifton; two adopted sons, Antonio Sanchez and Armando Sanchez, both of Tifton; one daughter and son-in-law, Tashalia and Jose Tovar of Tifton; one adopted daughter, Nancy Sanchez of Tifton; seven brothers and four sisters-in-law, Carl Bentley and his companion, John Davis, Chris Brown, Curtis and Connie Bentley, David and Monica Brown, Avery and Brenda Brown, Wilbur Bentley, and Kenny and Dorothy Harris, all of Tifton; three sisters and their husbands, Ann Burke, Linda McDuffie and James Cox, and Jennifer Mashburn, all of Tifton; two brothers-in-law, Jack Howell and Neal Guy, both of Tifton; four sisters-in-law and their husbands, Sandra Perez and Aurelio Servin, Helen and Gary Wiggins, Rosalie and Soylo Silva and Janet Howell, all of Tifton; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
